How do I qualify to receive commission from Highland at closing?
Ask your buyer to complete a REALTOR® addendum at time of contract naming you as the REALTOR® of record for the sale. This REALTOR® Addendum must be submitted by buyer by not later than ten (10) business days following the buyer’s execution of the contract; Highland will not pay a commission to any agent for buyer who is not disclosed in a REALTOR® Addendum received by Highland within 10 business days of the date of buyer’s original contract with Highland.

Is an agreement between me and my buyer required?
As of August of 2024, a Buyer Representation Agreement between you and your buyer is required for Highland to ensure consistency with local and national regulations. A copy should be provided to the Sales Counselor at time of contract.

What if my agreement specifies a commission payment lower than 3%?
In this circumstance, Highland will pay the commission set forth in your Buyer Representation Agreement.
