Building Trust
By Giving BackTo us, community means much more than the city you call home. It means putting time, energy and passion into lifting up our neighbors and letting them know they can trust us to do the right thing. That's why Highland Homes remains committed to investing time and resources into making our communities even better tomorrow than they are today.
Here are some of the ways in which we are making a positive impact:
Heart of Highland
Supporting the communities we serve, we contribute to various nonprofit organizations in donations, grants, and through volunteerism.
Local nonprofits are nominated and voted upon by Highland Homes Employee Owners. Each quarter, we award donations or grants to these selected nonprofits in every region where we do business.
Our Employee Owners then use their Volunteer Time Off to show up and support those organizations by spending a day volunteering with fellow Employee Owners.
Supporting Our
Nation's Veterans
Every year we partner with Hillwood Communities and national nonprofit, Building Homes for Heroes, to build a home for a wounded veteran and their family in one of our Dallas-Fort Worth communities.
Based on the needs of the family, we will adjust our floor plans to make sure we’re building an accessible and livable home.
