Final Selections & Construction

Once a home or plan is selected, it's time to make it uniquely yours. Many of our buildable plans have multiple exterior and interior options to further customize your home. And of course we'll help you choose a homesite that meets your needs.

Once construction begins, you can follow along using the MyHighland mobile app. You'll also get regular updates and photographs of progress from your dedicated construction manager.

Preparing for Move-in

Once construction is nearing completion, it's time to prepare for closing and move-in. You are welcome to use any lender of your choice, but we recommend Highland HomeLoans because they know our process and can ensure a smooth transaction with no delays.

You'll also meet with your construction manager and together inspect the home. At this point, you're just a few shorts weeks away from experiencing the Highland difference for yourself!

Move-in Day!

The day is here! It's been an honor for us to build your home, but we don't just hand you the keys and fly away. We know move-in day is full of excitement, and your onsite sales and construction team is almost as excited as you are! You can expect regular follow-ups and check-ins from our sales and construction team (who by now you've come to know as friends). We're just a call, text or email away at all times.

Along the way, our dedicated, in-house Customer Care team is always nearby and ready to address any questions you may have. Highland is pleased to offer a 10-year structural warranty on every home we build, in addition to our standard mechanical and functional warranty.
